Craftsman Simulator

"Craftsman Simulator '' is an innovative 3D serious game that offers a simulation from a first-person perspective and introduces the player to the world of house building. The player takes on the role of a trainee who is involved in building a house from scratch and accompanies the employees on the building site. Trades such as bricklayer, electrician and carpenter are thematised. The game is designed to be entertaining, challenging and at the same time informative about the different professions.

Story 

The player takes on the role of a young trainee who is given the opportunity to work on a building site and learn about the different professions. Under the guidance of the fox, the site supervisor, the player experiences the entire process from the foundations to the finished house. Along the way, the player will complete various tasks and challenges associated with each job. At the end of the game there is an exciting finale in which the Master-Quiz must be completed.

Tasks in Game:

Day 1 -> Bricklayer scene

Mix sand, cement and water on the mortar mixing machine and then transport the mortar to the correct wall using the wheelbarrow.

● Use mason's string on the outside to make sure the bricks are straight and level

● Cut one brick with the tablesaw, coat the surfaces with mortar and lay the bricks.

● Use a spirit level to make sure the bricks are straight and level. Use a hammer to correct.

● Place the steel rods for the ceiling tiles.

● Place the door and window lintels so that the masonry remains stable

● Place the big ceiling tiles behind the house with the help of a crane

● pour concrete for the upper floor

Day 2 -> Carpenter scene

place the dowels and insert the steps for the staircase construction

● Positioning the frame and door leaf

● place the wooden structure for a stable roof

● place the window frame and then the window, then fill the edge with assembly foam

Day 3 -> Electrican scene

● Sawstraight lines into the masonry with a wall saw

● Laycables in the sawn lines

● Press black caps (for sockets) into the plaster

Game-Loop

At the end of the game there will be a quiz for each profession. This quiz will allow the player to apply the skills and information they have learnt. You can print out this quiz at the end of the game, it contains the questions sheet + answer sheet.
